MHP Session: The Marvelous Mia

As I was driving to meet Mia, the storm clouds were swiftly taking over the blue skies. I kept hoping they were headed in a different direction than our session destination at Ringwood State Park, but I’m never quite so lucky.  However with her Sweet Sixteen only two weeks aways (more on that soon!), we couldn’t reschedule for a later date since she wanted to display a photo with her party dress at the event.  So we decided to take  advantage of the small window of opportunity before the storm. Luckily, Mia’s smile is so uninhibited and beautiful that photographing her was a piece of cake, even under the pressure of a storm.

We even managed to squeeze in an outfit change.

Then it started pouring! We waited… Hope that the weather would turn around quickly evaporated. But we waited a little longer and then just like that – the rain slowed down.

And immediately after – the most gorgeous light EVER!  Moral of the story: the next picture perfect opportunity is always right around the corner!
