I don’t have very many personal resolutions, but one thing Kleber and I both agreed that we wanted to do this year was spend more quality with the nieces and nephews. Since we’re the only ones without kids on Kleber’s side of the family, they see us the least. And when they’re all together, it’s chaos central! So we knew we would have tackle the quality time on a one-by-one basis, starting with Miss Bells. For those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you might remember that Isabella stayed with us for a little while. Or perhaps you recall the adorable dancing baby video – yup that’s her too! Honestly, nothing has changed! She’s still full of spunk, loves to dance and sing and is a total smartypants. She turned 4 last week and since we share a love for “theatrics”, I wanted to be the one to take her to her to see her first musical – Cinderella on Broadway. As expected, the gift was a hit, but my favorite memory from the day was this one while we were trying to kill sometime before the show started. We went to buy some snacks at the drugstore and Miss Bells begged for a little makeup makeover. So I found the lightest shade of pink gloss, shadow and blush I could find. She was too short to reach the mirror, so Kleber had to lift her up for the big reveal. Her face….priceless!
