Erica and Jerome’s wedding has been years in the making. They were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since. I’ve known them both for many years and had the privilege of taking their maternity photos, so when I got the text “We’re Getting Married!” , I was so happy and excited for them!!! Life took them on some exciting detours before bringing them to this moment, but everything works out exactly the way it’s supposed to be and these two can now officially call themselves husband and wife! They decided to have a small, intimate wedding in New York City with their immediate family and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! We had an extremely cold and long winter this year, but the weather on their wedding day (early March) was beyond gorgeous! So honored to have been a part of their special day, among some other amazing milestones in their lives!
Their day started at the super hip and exclusive Gramercy Park Hotel. I absolutely loved the decor and I wanted to incoporate as much of those unique elements into their images as possible.
Is there anything more iconic New York than a yellow cab ride?!
Such a sweet mother-son “First Look” moment!
So dapper! Cutest best man ever!
Woo hooo….you did it!
First dance on the Brooklyn Bridge!
While we were on the bridge, they decided at the spur of the moment to have their portraits painted by a caricature artitst!
Their faces after the grand reveal…PRICELESS!
The perfect end to a perfect day!
Hannah - This is so awesome!
