If you’re reading this, that means you’ve found your way to my new “super-size” blog. If you’re arriving here via The Maddy Chronicles: THANK YOU!! It was a heartbreaking decision to leave my blog home of nearly two years, but I also know that this decision is ultimately for the best. In my blog bio, I write that I am just an average girl trying to juggle it all (family, married life, career, social life, etc…) while avoiding a quarter-life crisis. Let’s just say I failed miserably at the “avoiding a crisis” part. I realized just how overwhelmed I felt when driving south on the Garden State Parkway to join my family and friends for a beach day and tears were streaming down my face. Tears because I felt that I should be driving in the opposite direction: back home to my enormous to-do list and countless projects. Real tears because I was going to a beautiful, sunny, relaxing beach instead of sitting indoors in front of a computer. I know…CRAZY!! I am continuoulsy taking on too much with no room for the “bigger picture” things in my life and maintaing two blogs, with separate content and Facebook pages was becoming more than I could handle. But since I am not ready to give up on my favorite pastime, this is my solution: a blog that will cover my love of photography, among other things. A blog about anything from my latest photography projects to what I’m obsessing about lately. A place where everything that makes my heart pitter-patter can happily coexist. If you’re already a Mad Hearts reader and enjoy seeing the photos from client sessions, no worries -I will continue to post sneak peeks sprinkled in with some “behind-the -scenes” stuff too! And since I couldn’t bear to get rid of The Maddy Chronicles blog altogether, it will remain live, but will only serve as an archive. All new posts will be published here going forward. Sounds good? I hope so because you, my dear friend, joining me on this new blogging venture means the WORLD to me! So grab a latte and take a look around the new place! I dedicated countless hours to making this blog as user friendly as possible, but if you have any suggestions or comments on how I can make it better, feel free to drop me a line and let me know what’s on your mind!
*Even though I hope you find all the content here interesting, I know that “everything ain’t for everybody”, so besides having the main blog with the mix of content, I’ve also made it easy for you to view Mad Hearts Photography posts or “Maddy” posts exclusively. Just hover “Blog” on the navigational menu and select the {Big} Picture from the blog menu drop down for business posts or the {Bigger} Picture for personal content.
