Besides work and getting things done around the house, my social calendar has stayed pretty clear for the most part. However, this week was different – I attribute it to the warm weather and the fact February is chock full of birthdays (like my stepfather’s pictured above). Between the various celebrations (brunches, lunches, dinners…) and let’s not forget Super Bowl Sunday (how about them Giants?!), it has been nothing but non-stop excitement around here. Kleber and I were even able to squeeze in a movie date : The Descendants, which I really enjoyed. So today, my heart is happy and so is my belly – February is already winning in my book!
