We decided to head down to the beach Good Friday on a complete whim. Parker LOVES the beach and since we had the day off from work, a little adventure sounded like a great way to spend it. We haven’t been to the shore since Hurricane Sandy and we had no idea what we were going to find when we got there. Sandy Hook was officially closed, but we didn’t let that stop us. Sometimes it’s just easier to ask forgiveness, then ask permission. Living life on the edge. Things seems pretty normal once we got on the beach. There were a few wooden planks stacked up in one area, but for the most part, you wouldn’t have known the area had been affected by Sandy at all. I could forgo climbing that rock wall again, but watching Parker run around like a wild man on the empty beach, chasing the waves, rolling around on the sand was well worth our little trespassing excursion.
