JUST JOY
Randolph, NJ - Maternity & Newborn Photography Session

The last time I tried newborn photography I came to the realization that photographing new babies is not for me. I’ve gotten a few requests for newborn photos and I’ve turned them all down. Family is the only exception,  because I know they’ll still love me even if don’t deliver the best newborn pictures. I started doing some traditional posing stuff for my nephew Anankin‘s newborn pictures, but then quickly switched gears into a more lifestyle approach. I love the simplicity of this set.  No props. No funky backgrounds. No awkward baby posing!  Just the sheer joy and happiness only a new baby can bring.

Keeley - I love this! It is much more “real” than the posed newborn photos. We didn’t do a newborn session (since you don’t do them, LOL), but I have a lot of candid shots from Maxwell’s early days.
