It’s not often that I get to photograph families with older children, so when your subjects stay where you want them to stay and pose how you want them to, well that’s half the battle of a great picture right there! The other part is fabulous light and we found the yummiest autumn light under the shade of some trees in Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, NJ. What I wouldn’t give for this beautiful, golden light all year round! They had never taken professional photos as a family, so these photos are for Momma Marilyn who sent me a text in tears when she received her gallery and said that having these photos of her family was “a dream come true”! Feedback like that make my job all the more rewarding!
