Water Babies

When I was a little girl, I was a big fan of Disney’s Silly Symphony – a collection of animated shorts set to the tune of a musical score. My favorite was titled “Water Babies” about a Utopian world of little babies.  It’s a rather simple story, but I just loved the idea of living in a […]

Stephanie Faris - I remember those days! Of course, my stepdaughter is our only child when she visits, so she wants us to get in the water and play WITH her. I guess in that sense we are able to relive our childhoods, but I’m 40 and not quite as energetic as a child!

August 10, 2011 - 12:15 pm

Nadette - Your family really knows how to celebrate birthdays! And the babies are too cute, I’m sure that was a fun day. Would it be presumptious to ask your famliy to plan my 30th bday celebration? I mean, its a few years off (fewer than I would like, but that’s life), so they would have time to plan it. Just a suggestion, lol

MHP Event: Anatomy of a Great Party

I love a good party, but I love a great theme party even more! And Mariah’s Sweet Sixteen beach theme celebration held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Newburgh, New York was exactly that! Besides the vibrant colors and decor the umbrella “mocktails”  added to the festive vibe and were perfect for the mostly under age crowd.
