The design team at Baby Showers, Inc. really outdid themselves with this beautiful “Love in Bloom” themed baby shower. The wonderfully girly and vibrant decor and florals set the stage for this lovely family affair, only to be outshined by the gorgeous momma-to-be. It was important to Swati and Laurent to host an event their whole family could enjoy (including the tiniest members), so they made sure to have activities for both children and the adults. They had face painting and balloon caricatures for the children, as well as a onesie decorating station that even the adults could enjoy! The event took place both indoors and in a rooftop patio and they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect NYC summer’s day!

Although I love all my tiny subjects, every once in a while you meet one that just makes your heart melt with every click of the shutter. Isabella is one of those special little ones. I photographed her mom and dad for their maternity session when she was still in the womb…and we got to do it all over again when she turned “1” at the very same park where we took their maternity photos! I loved revisiting the very same spots and creating new memories, but with their daughter in their arms this time around. Isabella was just as sweet as can be and I couldn’t get enough of that adorable little face! I loved photographing this beautiful family and narrowing my favorites for this session was nearly impossible. Can’t wait to have her and her soon-to-arrive baby sister in front of my camera any day soon! I’ve never been to a Christening quite like this – and I don’t’ think I ever will! Arabella had the most beautiful day surrounded by her loving family. This was truly an occasion fit for a princess and Mom and Nonna Liz made sure that every single detail was the absolute best for their special girl! From the custom lace Christening gown to the perfect little shoes and bonnet, the flowers to the gorgeous cake by Cake Bliss and Treats – everything was stunning. The Rockaway River Country Club was the perfect venue to host such a spectacular event! Special shout out to Un Semplice Si who put all the fabulous “bling” details together, including the beautiful Holy Water party favors, custom bedding, table numbers, cake table skirt, picture frames, custom name hangers and so many more beautiful details not pictured in this post, because it would seriously be 10 pages long! It was truly a day to remember and Miss Arabella smiled the whole way through! |
