Remember these guys from the beautiful New York City wedding I recently posted? They welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the family over the summer. Actually, it was exactly a week after our session that little Evalyn made her grand debut into the world! I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in time for photos before the baby arrived because Erica was positively glowing. She made the most beautiful expectatant mom and the beach setting complemented her beautiful summer glow! This time their adorable son Julian and Boston Terrier, Porscha joined us for their session. This family just keeps getting bigger and more beautiful with each session! I enjoyed every minute of our time together and I can’t wait to get little Miss Eva in front of my camera soon. A few of my favorites…

Today I’m sharing another one of my summer maternity sessions! When I was communicating with Francesca about location ideas for her session, she was pretty open to any suggestions I had. I love when client’s give me free reign! This artistic freedom allows me to really play around with some different ideas and hopefully, produce images that are unique and special! It also helps when you have an easy going and gorgeous momma-to-be as your subject. She didn’t mind jumping in a stream with me and posing in the middle of a wildflower field. But I’d say it was worth it! This beautiful couple welcomed their baby girl Isabella in September and not only is she a beauty like her mom, I got to photograph her newborn photos too! More on that soon, but first, let’s give her mom a moment to shine! This month’s theme is ART and I decided to hit the archives for some artwork in the form of a mural from our trip to San Francisco. You can see more of the incredible murals we saw during our trip to Balmy Alley in this post. Most – if not all- of the murals had some sort of political/social message. You could spend an entire day exploring all the beautiful artwork in this one little area of The Mission. To continue the circle, please be sure to stop by Stephanie’s blog for her take on this month’s theme.
