I can’t believe this year is almost coming to a close!!! It’s November and I’m desperately trying to catchup and post as many of my 2014 photos and sessions as possible! I post regularly on Facebook and Instagram (so be sure to follow me on those platforms!), but there’s nothing like scrolling through a blog post of session photos! That’s why I insist on keeping this blog live, though I don’t always find the time to share. These photos were taken for my nephew Anakin’s first birthday back in May! I know…we are taking it waaaaayyyy back! But these were too adorable not to share! He’s a little spitfire now and running all over the place, but at the time of his birthday session he was just learning to balance himself, so we had to get a little creative with posing! I’m pretty sure next year I’ll be chasing him down for photos! A few of my favorites….

Erica and Jerome’s wedding has been years in the making. They were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since. I’ve known them both for many years and had the privilege of taking their maternity photos, so when I got the text “We’re Getting Married!” , I was so happy and excited for them!!! Life took them on some exciting detours before bringing them to this moment, but everything works out exactly the way it’s supposed to be and these two can now officially call themselves husband and wife! They decided to have a small, intimate wedding in New York City with their immediate family and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! We had an extremely cold and long winter this year, but the weather on their wedding day (early March) was beyond gorgeous! So honored to have been a part of their special day, among some other amazing milestones in their lives! This month’s Creativity Project theme is “Feet, Hands, Bodies, Wrinkles, Age”. It definitely takes the prize for the longest theme name EVER! But it’s also inspired me to pick up my camera and shoot something new instead of digging into the archives! All these adorable body parts belong to a special little newborn girl that I had the privilege of photographing over the weekend. Only two weeks old. She has a lifetime of growing and changing to do, but for now I think I can stare at these precious little details of her two week old self all day. To continue the circle, please be sure to stop by Erica Lee’s blog for her take on this month’s theme.

So much precious sweetness in one post! I know the parents will always treasure these captures. The only thing as certain as the cuteness of a newborn is the rapid rate at which they change!
