After reading […]

March 27, 2012 - 9:07 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Thanks Angelia! When Mad Hearts became official, I upgraded to the D700. I’m also using the 24-70 f/2.8 lens on all of these. I’m loving the wider shots! It’s a nice change from the 50mm, though I still love my nifty fifty :)

March 27, 2012 - 9:13 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - This one was one of my favorites too! Though I would prefer that there be no shadow, I still feel like it worked in this particular shot. The model didn’t hurt either ;)

March Madness // A Week in Photos

The month of March is already living up to it’s wild reputation, especially on the work front! It’s tax time, which means I’m like a hamster on a wheel at the office until April 15th.  I’m also trying to squeeze study time after work hours for a licensing exam.  I was such a great student […]

March 13, 2012 - 1:45 am

Hannah - Oh man…tax time…blah. And the hamster wheel imagery makes me feel very sorry for you. Hope everything gets better and you’re able to focus on the things you love/enjoy the most. :)

March 13, 2012 - 2:12 am

Tiera - You’ve been so busy! I feel the same way at the moment. Hope you take some time for yourself soon! And I absolutely LOVE the photo looking down onto the street :)

March 13, 2012 - 7:37 am

Amy - Tax time–eek! But 70 degrees? Perfection!

Love the street photos by the way. But seriously, I love all your photos so that’s not saying much.

March 13, 2012 - 9:07 am

Cafe Fashionista - Ooh, I love the view of your living area – the neighborhood is so diverse. Good luck with all of the craziness, Maddy! You will do amazing on your licensing exam! :)

March 13, 2012 - 9:10 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - Thanks Erika, but that’s the neighborhood around where I work. I live in a residential area. Though I enjoy working in the city, I love coming home to peace and quite :)

March 13, 2012 - 10:30 am

Gloria - Ugh, I’m so dreading doing my taxes! Glad you’re managing to sneak in some peace and quiet each day :-)

March 13, 2012 - 10:52 am

Keeley @ My Life on a Plate - Ugh, taxes! Yeah, I need to get on that.

March 13, 2012 - 11:10 am

Camila Faria - I couldn’t help but notice there’s a “brazilian bakery” in that last pic. And they also sell lottery tickets! How funny!

March 13, 2012 - 11:24 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - You’re spot on! Actually that whole part of town is Brazilian! Tons of rodizio spots and delicious foods. In the summer, I’ll bring the big camera with me to work so I can take more pictures. It’s a fun part of the city to explore :)

March 13, 2012 - 12:07 pm

Danei at Pasadya - What an awesome top photo! Good luck on your exam…and..blah!..all those taxes!

March 13, 2012 - 12:29 pm

Mindy - 70 degree weather does help, doesnt it?!?! lovin this weather :)

March 13, 2012 - 2:33 pm

March 13, 2012 - 4:55 pm

Kristin - So many gorgeous shots…That first one is so cool!

March 13, 2012 - 10:22 pm

March 15, 2012 - 9:34 am

Buckeroomama - Good luck with your exams!

I love these cityscapes… but then again, I love all your photos, Maddy. If we ever do make it to your neck of the woods, I’d love to book a session with you! :)

March 15, 2012 - 11:12 am

Maddy {Mad Hearts Photography} - If you’re ever in the area (or I’m in yours), it’s a date! Though I’ll warn you ahead of time, I may just have to kidnap Zoe and have her stay with me ;)

March 18, 2012 - 12:07 pm

Elle Sees - ugh i need to do my taxes, dangit. im not usually such a procrastinator.

March 18, 2012 - 12:55 pm

Audrey Allure - These are such pretty photos! Hope you get some time to relax soon :)

March 20, 2012 - 1:11 pm

Nadette@Eat, Read, Rant! - I totally know how you feel–there really aren’t enough hours in the day for everything that has to get done. Hence my dropping of the face of the web for over three weeks! But we’re women, and we can do it all (and by all I mean only the things that have to be done and neglecting all other things until the craziness passes). What license are you applying for? Good luck on your exam! Is it April 22nd yet?
